Sales Advisor - Solar PV

We are currently partnering with a well-established and rapidly growing renewable energy provider to recruit a Domestic Solar PV Sales Advisor. This organisation has a long-standing reputation for delivering sustainable, energy-efficient solutions to homeowners and businesses across Ireland.

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven sales professional to join a high-performing team in a fast-growing sector, helping homeowners transition to renewable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial enquiry through to signed contract, ensuring a seamless handover to design and project teams
  • Generate, develop and convert a pipeline of residential Solar PV opportunities
  • Engage directly with homeowners, providing tailored advice on Solar PV systems and available SEAI grants (including One Stop Shop, CEG, and Solar-only projects)
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through clear and consistent communication
  • Conduct needs assessments and provide bespoke installation recommendations
  • Prepare and present accurate quotation packs, guiding clients through internal processes
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records within the CRM, including pipeline forecasting and reporting
  • Meet and exceed KPIs and sales targets (conversion rates, pipeline activity, revenue)
  • Stay informed on industry trends, products, and regulatory updates
  • Represent the business at events, exhibitions and seminars as required
  • Collaborate with the wider team to contribute to sales strategy and performance improvements
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a target-driven sales role, ideally within Solar PV or a related industry
  • Proven ability to negotiate and close deals successfully
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated, results-driven with a positive attitude
  • Comfortable working independently while maintaining accountability for KPIs
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Knowledge of Solar PV and battery storage is advantageous (full training provided)
  • Fluent English (written and verbal)
