Salaried/OOH GP, North-West Leicestershire

Overview

This is a unique opportunity for a GP to take a salaried role within an Extended Access setting. The position focuses on same day access and acute presentations, offers structured clinics and manageable workloads, and allows working across multiple supportive practices.

Location

Based across multiple sites within North West Leicestershire around Coalville, the role involves a Friday base clinic with weekend work across two local practices. Each site provides on site support and employs reception and administrative teams.

Responsibilities

• Work Fridays, Saturdays (9 5) and Sundays (10 2)
• Provide clinics focused on same day access and acute presentations
• Deliver 15 minute appointments, focusing on optimal patient flow ( 4 patients per hour) with protected breaks
• Operate predominantly lone, with additional clinicians available on site Saturdays
• Rotate between the two sites during weekend shifts
• Pre triage patients via NHS 111 and local practices

Qualifications

Qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and the UK performers list.
