Salaried GP with view to Partnership 6 sessions

The Salaried GP Role - Castle Surgery is seeking a motivated, committed, and forward-thinking Salaried GP to join our friendly, multidisciplinary team. Located in the heart of Neath Town Centre, this is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment with an established patient list of 9,921. The role includes a potential future partnership for the right candidate.

Main duties of the job

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality primary care services to registered and temporary patients
  • Conduct 28 consultations per day (face-to-face and telephone)
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Prescribe in line with the practice formulary
  • Support disease prevention and long-term condition management
  • Offer leadership and clinical input to the wider team
  • Mentor or support junior staff, physicians associates and medical students from Swansea University.
  • Benefit from streamlined workflow admin responsible only for your own test results and letters
  • Minimal medication queries handled by the pharmacy team
  • Home visits required very occasionally, when Advanced Paramedic Practitioner is unavailable
  • Attend clinical meetings
  • Promote QI projects

Qualifications
  • Fully registered and qualified with the General Medical Council
