Job Description

We are looking to recruit a motivated and patient-focusedSalaried GP to join our welcoming and supportive practice team for 2sessions per week on a fixed-term contract funded through the Practice-LevelGP Reimbursement Scheme.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a well-established practice committed to delivering high-quality patient carewhile supporting workforce development and continuity of care.

Main duties of the job

Recruited GP will be required to provide 2 3 hour sessions on Mondays. GP is required to see 15 patients with 10 minute appointment in 3 hour session. 30 minutes are allocated for self generated admin work, no home visits required.

Job responsibilities
  • Provide routine and urgent GP consultations to patients
  • Undertake telephone, face-to-face, and online consultations as appropriate
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Prescribe medications in accordance with local and national guidance
  • Review pathology results, correspondence, and clinical documents
  • Make appropriate referrals to secondary and community care services
  • Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records
  • Participate in safeguarding processes for children and vulnerable adults
  • Support health promotion and disease prevention initiatives
Qualifications
  • Applicants must:
  • Be fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise
  • Be included on the NHS Performers List
  • Be eligible under the Practice-Level GP Reimbursement Scheme requirements
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and teamworking skills
