Job Description
Background
This is an excellent opportunity for a Salaried GP to join a highly regarded, forward thinking GP Training Practice in the attractive market town of Wantage. The team is committed to reducing workload pressures through excellent administrative support, a large multidisciplinary team and a well structured appointment system.
Location- Wantage, Oxfordshire
- Large practice with a growing patient population
- Well established GP Training Practice with multiple trainers and regular GP Registrars
- Modern purpose built premises with ongoing expansion plans
- Strong multidisciplinary team including Pharmacists, Physiotherapists, Paramedics, ANPs, Nurses and HCAs
- Excellent administrative support with ongoing workflow optimisation
- Daily coffee breaks, lunch breaks and regular educational meetings

- SystmOne clinical system
- Affluent patient demographic with a good mix of ages
- Salaried GP
- 4-8 sessions available with flexibility on working days
- BMA model contract
- 12-14 patient contacts per session including GP only appointment slots
- 15 minute appointments throughout
- Mixture of telephone and face to face consultations
- Additional protected admin time built into the working week
- Very low home visiting requirements, supported by a Paramedic visiting service
- Initially no duty doctor commitments

- £11,500-£12,000 per session
