Yoxall Health Centre are seeking two enthusiastic and patient focused Salaried GP's, to join our friendly rural dispensing practice. The practice has a list size of around 4700 patients.
We are offering 8 sessions per week and are looking to employ x2 GP's on a fixed term contract for 12 months. For the right candidate's permanent contracts will be offered at the end of the fixed term period.
The successful candidates will join a collaborative clinical team including GPs, Clinical Pharmacists, Practice Nurse, Nursing Associate, Dispensers and dedicated administrative support.
Main duties of the jobThe practice works on a traditional appointment system to deliver face to face consultations and telephone calls to our patients.
The right candidates will share the practice ethos to constantly strive to achieve and maintain high standards of patient centred care.
Successful candidate's will undertake a variety of duties including:
- Face to face consultations
- Telephone consultations
- Attending home visits
- Undertake management of pathology results
- Manage administration tasks in a timely manner
- Make professional autonomous decisions in relation to presenting medical problems
- Check and sign repeat prescriptions and queries
- Use EMIS clinical system

Job responsibilitiesThe post holder will carry out a range of duties normally undertaken by a GP working in primary care.

Person Specification Qualifications- Qualified GP
- MRCGP
- Registration on performers list
- Strong IT skills
- Ability to work as team member and autonomously
- Ability to follow practice policy's and procedures.
- Knowledge of GMS contract
- Use of EMIS web
- Experience of working in primary care

Depending on experiencerange between £10,500- £11,500 per session
