Salaried GP 2

A Good CQC Rated GP Training Surgery in Leighton Buzzard is looking to hire a Salaried GP to offer 6 sessions on a permanent basis. The sessions will be designed around the successful candidate and therefore you will set your Clinic times. The surgery are seeking to recruit a talented and committed General Practitioner who will be able to provide excellent holistic clinical care that meets the needs of patients registered at the surgery. As a senior clinician, it is expected that the post holder will work with the lead GP to develop a leadership role within the practice.

Day to day duties include:

Working autonomously

Undertake clinical practice at an advanced level using expert knowledge and clinical skills to deliver holistic care to people accessing primary care services

Engage in all usual administration activity associated with day to day general practice

Make onward referrals where appropriate

Undertake home visits as appropriate

Undertake telephone triage, video and telephone consultations as needed

The surgery utilises System One and holds a a list size of around 20,000 patients. The practice work closely with the Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes Training Hubs to support their staff with training and development opportunities to help thrive. The team comprises Salaried GPs, Locum GPs, Clinical Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Practice Nurses, HCAs and more.
