Job Description

The Crouch Oak Family Practice is launching a new Enhanced Access Service fromJuly 2026, and we are looking for enthusiastic GPs to help shape and deliver it from day one.

We are a large friendly training practice with a strong emphasis on Team work and learning. We aim to provide high quality care for patients while maintaining a realistic and supportive workload for clinicians.

Main duties of the job

You should work as an autonomous practitioner, responsible for the provision of medical services to the practice population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care whilst complying with the contract.

This is a unique opportunity to join a forward-thinking, well-supported team while enjoying the flexibility of evening and weekend work.

We are offering 4 to 6 sessions per week, including evenings and Saturdays.

Job responsibilities

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Salaried GP, either newly qualified or experienced, to join our busy Practice to help us deliver enhanced access appointments to our patients. You will deliver a full range of general medical services, including both in-person and remote consultations, the management of acute and long-term conditions, and the provision of preventative care. You will work closely with the wider multidisciplinary clinical team to ensure patients receive coordinated and effective care.

Person Specification Qualifications
  • Full qualified GP with GMC registration
  • On NHSE Medical Performers List
  • Annual Appraisal and revalidation (when appropriate)
