An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and patient-focused GP with a special interest in Women's Health to join a well-established, modern general practice in County Kildare.

We are seeking a GP to work 4 sessions per week, with the opportunity to develop a dedicated Women's Health focus within a supportive and progressive practice.

This is an excellent opportunity for a GP who is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient centred care to women across all stages of life. You will join a friendly and experienced multidisciplinary team, with excellent clinical and administrative support and the flexibility to develop your role around your professional interests.

The practice is particularly keen to welcome a GP who would like to develop and establish a strong Women's Health offering, while remaining part of a broad-based general practice team.

Women's Health

The role offers scope to develop your own area of expertise within Women's Health, tailored to your qualifications and clinical interests.

This could include areas such as:

• Menopause and perimenopause care


• Contraception and reproductive health


• Cervical screening and women's preventive health


• Pregnancy and postnatal care


• Menstrual health


• Polycystic ovary syndrome and related conditions


• Women's sexual health


• Women's mental health


• General women's health across the life course

There is flexibility to shape the scope of the role around your existing experience and areas of special interest.

About You

You'll ideally have:

• Specialist Registration, or eligibility for registration, with the Irish Medical Council


• MICGP, MRCGP or an equivalent qualification


• A particular interest, experience or additional training in Women's Health


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• A commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence based patient care


• A collaborative approach to team working
