Overview

Safety Engineer - Defence (UK Citizenship required)

Stevenage or Bristol 2-3 days per week on site

Responsibilities

Safety arguments & Safety Case authoring
Hazard analysis (FTA, ETA, SWIFT, HAZOP)

Qualifications

Knowledge of DEF-STAN 00-056 (others desirable)
Background in electronic engineering (software desirable)
Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills

Role details

We're looking for an experienced Safety Engineer (Contract) to support the integration of complex defence products. The role involves delivering safety analysis, hazard management, and Safety Case Reports, while working with UK and international authorities.
