Room Leader Canolfan Deulu Y Bala

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Room Leader to manage a busy early years room. You will lead a small team, ensuring high standards of care, learning and development in accordance with the Early Years Framework.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of practitioners
• Plan and present age-appropriate activities
• Monitor children's progress and keep records
• Ensure that safeguarding, health and safety are maintained
• Build positive relationships with parents and carers

Requirements

• Level 3 qualification (or above) in Early Years
• Experience in an early years setting
• Good knowledge of the Curriculum for Wales

This role is subject to an extended DBS check and satisfactory references.

Contract Options

School term time only (38-39 weeks) or Full year (52 weeks)

Job details

Salary: Full Year (52 weeks): £25,012 per year / School term only (38-39 weeks): £18,278 - £18,759 per annum (usually paid monthly over 12 months)

Hours: 37 hours per week. Holiday: 25 days + bank holidays

Qualification

Level 3 early years qualification or above is required and relevant experience.
