DescriptionSalary: £27,000 per annum with potential to progress up to £32,000 per annum. Company bonus scheme of £1,500 per annum based on performance. OTE earnings for year 1: £28,500.

Experience: No teaching experience required - full training, support and development provided.
Transport: UK/EU Driving Licence and own transport is an essential requirement for the role.

Location: You'll teach in multiple schools across a regional area each week.
Fuel: Fuel contributions in addition to salary.
We teach in school rock and pop band lessons to primary age children across the UK.
Responsibilities- Teach groups of primary age children in a fun, inspiring rock and pop band format in up to 10 schools per week.
- Give children their first opportunity to learn an instrument - drums, guitar, bass, keyboard, vocals.
- Work independently as part of a remote team of band leaders with support from central teams.
- Be a role model, empowering and supporting children to deliver live performances at end of term concerts.
- Help children develop self belief, resilience and wellbeing through performing in a band.
- Represent Rocksteady, building strong relationships with schools, teachers and parents.
- Be prepared for highly active days and to spend time driving between schools, handling equipment setup and packing up.
- Competent on at least two of the following instruments: drums, guitar, bass, keyboard, vocals.
- The enthusiasm to learn teaching band lessons and complete an extensive training programme before starting timetable.
- The resilience to work in a challenging, dynamic role.
- The confidence to be yourself, proud of your uniqueness and communicate well with children, teachers and parents.
- Integrity to promote child safety and wellbeing.
- Organised, independent worker with good time management and administration skills.
- A UK/EU driving licence and own transport for equipment and travel.
- Full time, salaried position.
- Monday - Friday, daytimes only.
