Overview

Our trusted partner, a leading cybersecurity consultancy, is urgently seeking an experienced ICT Risk Manager to support their continued growth and compliance initiatives. This is a critical freelance role focused on developing risk policies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and working closely with both business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ICT risk management policies and frameworks
• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, NIS2, and other relevant regulations
• Collaborate cross-functionally to assess and mitigate ICT risks
• Help manage the risk mitigation budget in coordination with technical teams
• Translate technical risks into clear, business-relevant insights
• Provide regular updates to senior stakeholders and management

Ideal Profile

• Proven experience in ICT risk management or similar roles
• Strong communication skills in both Dutch and French
• Ability to liaise confidently with technical teams and business units
• A strong understanding of risk impact at both technical and organisational levels
• Technical knowledge (beneficial but not essential) in areas such as:
• Microsoft Cloud platforms (Azure, M365, Purview)
• Networking (routing, switching, firewalls)
• Endpoint management (e.g. Intune, SCCM)
• Identity & Access Management (e.g. Entra ID, Active Directory)
