THE ROLE

We have a FTC role for a Risk Lawyer.

This is an opportunity for a general risk lawyer to support the Risk & Compliance team members.

The role will involve:

• Assisting with daily queries regarding the SRA Code, professional standards and best practice, ethics, data protection, supplier contracts, terms and conditions and conflicts
• Advise on new or changed regulatory requirements and legal obligations that have an impact on the operations of the firm
• Drafting and amending terms of engagement
• Maintaining registers and monitoring compliance

THE CANDIDATE

You will be a qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 2+ PQE of legal compliance experience gained working for an international law firm.

Candidates will have previous experience of dealing with confidentiality and ethics, familiarity with the SRA Handbook and the Code of Conduct.

The role requires excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate and deal with queries in a confident and manner.

Experience of providing training would be desirable.

The firm offers hybrid working arrangements.
