Description:

We are currently seeking experienced Registered General Nurses (RGNs) to work across General Acute Wards at Royal Surrey, Guildford. This locum opportunity offers a variety of long day and night shifts, providing flexibility to suit your availability.

Typical shift patterns include:

• Long days: 07:30-19:30
• Night shifts: 19:15-07:45

This role is ideal for nurses who are confident delivering high-quality care in a busy acute hospital environment, managing patients with a range of medical and surgical conditions.

Duties include:

• Delivering safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to acute ward patients
• Comprehensive patient assessment, monitoring, and documentation
• Safe administration of medications and treatments
• Escalating clinical concerns appropriately
• Working collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to support patient care and flow

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible, you must have:

• Current NMC registration
• Recent NHS acute ward experience
• Competency using the CERNER system
• Valid NHS Smartcard
