Job Description
Mount Charles Group is one of the largest and privately owned soft facilities management, catering and ancillary service/product providers in Ireland. We are currently recruiting for a Cleaning Supervisor to join our team based at ICC Waterfront Hall, Belfast.
Working Pattern- 40 hours per week
- Days will vary - evenings and weekends
- Event shifts: 16 00, 18 00, 18 00
- 20 days' annual leave (pro rata)

- Contract auditing - carry out quality audits as per schedule and company policy
- Client contact - meet with clients as per schedule
- Assist with payroll when needed
- Check staff uniforms
- Assist the operations manager with induction training - all new starts and staff moving sites must receive induction training as per induction training list
- Ensure all members of staff are completing their roles to the best of their ability, checking each area on an ad hoc basis
- Ensure all areas are fully stocked (toiletries, soap dispensers)
- Keep own store area clean, tidy, colour coded and up to spec
- Fully flexible approach required
- Holiday cover - assist the supervisor with approving or rejecting holiday requests as per staff engagement app, cover sickness
- Stock ordering
- Comply with all health, safety & hygiene standards
- Comply with HACCP regulations as necessary
- Full compliance with COSHH and colour coding
- Ensure all clothing, footwear and personal hygiene meet company guidelines at all times
- Daily staff management
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail
- NVQ/SVQ Level One in cleaning building interiors an advantage but not essential
- Previous work experience in customer service employment
- Current BICS qualifications
- Basic statutory training - candidates must have basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to understand safety instructions and communicate with customers on a day to day basis
