We promote a hybrid working environment, which means you will work at our office in Manchester roughly once a month and then remotely from home. To enable you to work from home, you will need have a suitable office set up which includes a desk and a chair in a location which is free from the interruptions of day-to-day life.
The role:
As a Reward Partner, you'll offer consultative and specialist advice to our Customer Operations Office business area, providing and implementing solutions to complex issues on reward and benefits. You'll also be involved in a number of projects linked to harmonisation of wider group terms.
Key Accountabilities:
Provide a full range of Reward analytics and partnering to enable the Reward and HRBP teams to offer proactive advice and guidance to business areas on all elements of the reward package
Deliver specialist analytical modelling capability across the Reward Team which supports agreed Reward policy / objectives
Develop and run specialist models to inform the design and costing of reward solutions which are in line with the wider Bank / Reward objectives
Provide specialist analytical advice, guidance and insight to the Reward team and other HR stakeholders
Provide external reward providers with Bank salary and incentive information in support of annual salary surveys and benchmarking exercises.
Develop tools to enable line managers to better manage reward issues in conjunction with Reward team
Participate in Reward project activity to ensure the accuracy and consistency of data and reward information, including through a large scale project to integrate terms and conditions across the Bank and its new owners, Coventry Building Society.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
Specialist Excel spreadsheet and database capability, with strong modelling and analysis skills
Understanding of the broad range of factors impacting on reward advice including, economic, legislative, competitive, external and internal labour markets.
Market knowledge and experience of good reward practice attained through reward networks and market exposure
Strong consulting and partnership skills, with experience of communicating complex and technical reward concepts clearly with a variety of stakeholders
Broad knowledge of a number of reward practices e.g. performance related pay, incentive scheme design, executive pay, employee benefits and pensions. Experience of harmonising terms and conditions would be beneficial.
Knowledge of regulatory and legal frameworks around Reward management, eg Remuneration Regulations within Financial Services.
Project management skills and techniques and experience of managing reward initiatives into the business.
Rounded HR generalist knowledge and ability to identify and support the wider HR agenda.
