Retail Vendor Manager Intern

As a Retail Vendor Manager Intern, you'll step into the heart of Amazon's Retail organization and take ownership of real business relationships from day one.
In this role, you'll partner directly with Amazon's Retail Vendors - the brands and suppliers who sell their products wholesale to Amazon - and play an active role in driving their success on the platform. From identifying untapped growth opportunities to building strategic relationships with some of the world's biggest brands, you'll gain hands on experience that goes far beyond the classroom.
Key responsibilities- Work with a small set of strategically important manufacturers who produce goods and then sell them to us as a retailer.
- Drive a positive vendor experience by building and maintaining a strong relationship to achieve mutual growth with unique solutions.
- Provide customized strategic business advice to vendors to improve their overall business performance and grow their sales.
- Drive supply chain operational excellence initiatives by reducing costs, defects, lead times, and by managing stock in our fulfillment centers.
- Take part in advertising campaigns and promotional activities such as Prime Day where you will help your brands generate sales, increase their traffic and improve conversion.

Internship Start DatesWe are hiring interns with flexible start dates from January through July 2026.
Basic Qualifications- Speak, write, and read fluently in English.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including pivot tables, macros, index/match, VLOOKUP, VBA, and data links.
- Currently in your penultimate year and working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, E Commerce, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or a related field.
- Available to commence an internship between April and July 2026 for 12 months, full time (40 h/week).
- Legal right to work in the UK for the entire period of the internship.
- Experience in financial analysis, retail buying, retail planning & allocation, product/project management, marketing, business development, consulting, negotiation, or supply chain.
- Experience using analytical tools such as Google Analytics, SQL, or HTML.
- Experience working with clients.
- Excellent communications and presentation skills.
- Results driven focus with analytical capability.
- Strong direct sales skills and a proven track record of performance.
