The Role

As a Majestic Trainee Manager, you will undertake a 12-month development programme to gain comprehensive experience in operational, service, and leadership standards, preparing you to become a future Store Manager. You will work through a structured training pathway with support from your Store Manager to set you up for success.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive store performance by maximising sales and improving KPI focus areas.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to foster loyalty and repeat business.
• Offer a VIP concierge service, actively engaging with customers about products and tastings.
• Share your passion for our range, manage tasting events, and execute an appealing tasting counter.
• Enhance your wine knowledge to support your WSET qualifications and sales confidence.
• Maintain the store's appearance and operational standards.
• Participate in operational tasks, including stock deliveries, merchandising, and customer outreach.
• Identify opportunities for operational improvements.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, safety, and legal requirements.
• Take ownership of your personal development using available resources.
• Lead by example and support junior team members, providing feedback to your Store Manager.

Knowledge & Skills Required

• Experience in a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment working as part of a team.
• Ability to deliver outstanding customer service.
• Strong prioritisation and problem-solving skills under pressure.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and passion for resolving issues.
• Adaptability and resilience.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Wine knowledge is beneficial; passion to learn and pass WSET levels 2 & 3 is essential.
• Full UK/EU/EEA driving license for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.

• Hours: 39 or 45 hours per week (contracts available)
