The RoleAs a Majestic Trainee Manager, you will undertake a 12-month development programme to gain comprehensive experience in operational, service, and leadership standards, preparing you to become a future Store Manager. You will work through a structured training pathway with support from your Store Manager to set you up for success.
Key Responsibilities- Drive store performance by maximising sales and improving KPI focus areas.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to foster loyalty and repeat business.
- Offer a VIP concierge service, actively engaging with customers about products and tastings.
- Share your passion for our range, manage tasting events, and execute an appealing tasting counter.
- Enhance your wine knowledge to support your WSET qualifications and sales confidence.
- Maintain the store's appearance and operational standards.
- Participate in operational tasks, including stock deliveries, merchandising, and customer outreach.
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, safety, and legal requirements.
- Take ownership of your personal development using available resources.
- Lead by example and support junior team members, providing feedback to your Store Manager.
- Experience in a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment working as part of a team.
- Ability to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Strong prioritisation and problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and passion for resolving issues.
- Adaptability and resilience.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Wine knowledge is beneficial; passion to learn and pass WSET levels 2 & 3 is essential.
- Full UK/EU/EEA driving license for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
