We're looking for a Retail Team Member to welcome visitors to the National Trust shop at Hardwick, to answer their questions and help them make the most of their day.
Salary: £12.75 per hour
Contract: Permanent
Hours/working pattern: This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary. Your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year. You'll work 494 hours per year, averaging 1 to 2 days a week for 6 hours and 15 minutes. You will also be required to work weekends.
Interview date: 10th June 2026
As a member of the retail team, you'll be offering visitors help and advice with their shopping, maintaining high standards of presentation and providing excellent service to all customers. You'll also talk to them about how every purchase supports the National Trust. Other duties may include arranging, receiving, and unpacking deliveries, creating shop displays, and working with the team to keep the shop floor clean and organised.
