Job Description

We're looking for a Retail Team Member to welcome visitors to the National Trust shop at Blists Hill, to answer their questions and help them make the most of their day.

Summary

Salary: £12.75 per hour
Contract/duration: Fixed term contract ending 31-Dec-2026
Hours/working pattern: Zero hour contract with flexible scheduling; includes weekends and bank holidays, no evenings or split shifts.

What you'll be doing

As a member of the retail team, you'll offer visitors help and advice with their shopping. You'll maintain high standards of presentation in the shop while providing excellent service to all customers.

You'll also talk to customers about how purchases support the National Trust, and may be responsible for arranging, receiving, and unpacking deliveries, creating shop displays, and helping keep the shop floor clean and organised.
