Job Description

We're looking for a Retail Team Member to welcome visitors to the National Trust shop at Anglesey Abbey Shop and Plant Centre, to answer their questions and help them make the most of their day.

Salary: £12.75 per hour

Contract/duration: Fixed term contract until 8th March 2027. There are two contracts available.

Hours/working pattern: This is a zero hour contract, meaning we can't guarantee a set number of hours each week. While we aim to provide a consistent work pattern, flexibility is needed as schedules may change based on business needs. We'll try to give as much notice as possible. The role includes weekends and Bank Holidays but does not require evening or split shifts.

Responsibilities

As a member of the retail team, you'll be offering visitors help and advice with their shopping, providing excellent service, and maintaining high standards of presentation in the shop.

You'll also be able to talk to them about how everything they buy helps to fund the work of the National Trust.

Other duties may include arranging, receiving and unpacking deliveries, creating shop displays and working with others in the team to keep the shop floor clean and organised.
