We're looking for a Retail Team Member to welcome visitors to the National Trust shop at Cragside, to answer their questions and help them make the most of their day.
Salary: £12.75 per hour
Contract Duration: Fixed term until 31st October 2026
Hours: 20 hours per week
Working Pattern: You will work 3 days a week, between 10:00-17:00pm, Mon-Sun. You will have the opportunity to work occasional additional shifts.
For this role, you'll need to complete our online assessment instead of using a C.V. or online application form. This will help us understand more about your strengths and give you more information on the role.
ResponsibilitiesAs a member of the retail team, you'll be offering visitors help and advice with their shopping. You'll have high standards of presentation in the shop while providing excellent service to all customers.
You'll also be able to talk to them about how everything they buy helps to fund the work of the National Trust. Other duties may include arranging, receiving and unpacking deliveries, creating shop displays and working with others in the team to keep the shop floor clean and organised.
