Retail Supervisor - Part Time

We are looking to recruit a new retail supervisor for our shop in Glasgow Road, Clydebank. This is a permanent part time position, working a variety of shifts with a minimum of 20 hours per week and generally includes some weekend work.

• Hourly rate: £13.61 per hour.

• Support the manager as part of the management team and lead the shop in the manager's absence.
• Ensure customers are looked after, deliveries are worked quickly and shop routines are completed to maintain a safe, clean and tidy shop.
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders and develop a team of retail assistants.
• Control operational costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll.

• Trustworthy and reliable, able to be depended upon at all times.
• Experience as a supervisor, team leader or manager in retail or a similar industry is desirable but not essential.
• Successful completion of a Basic DBS (England/Wales) or Disclosure Scotland check if hired. Employment is subject to a satisfactory check.
