Hours: 20 hours per week.

Pay: £13.61 per hour.

We are looking to recruit a new retail supervisor for our shop in Glasgow Road, Clydebank. This permanent part time position works a variety of shifts with a minimum of 20 hours each week, generally including some weekend work.

Pay & Benefits

Hourly pay rate of £13.61 with a guaranteed minimum of 20 hours per week, earning at least £272 per week. Overtime may be available.

Key Responsibilities

• Be an important part of the management team and support the manager in leading the team to run an efficient shop and provide a great service to our customers.
• Take full responsibility for running the shop in the manager's absence ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries are worked quickly and shop routines are completed to maintain a safe, clean and tidy shop.
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders and develop your team of retail assistants.
• Take responsibility for the control of operational costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll.

Required Skills & Experience

• Friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
• People person who finds it easy to get on with everyone and is able to build strong working relationships.
• Trustworthy and reliable, able to be a dependable part of the small team.
• Experience as a supervisor, team leader or manager in retail or similar industries is an advantage, but enthusiasm and willingness to learn are also valued.
• Completion of a Basic DBS check (England/Wales) or Disclosure Scotland check if hired.
