Retail Supervisor - Part Time

We are looking to recruit a new retail supervisor for our shop in Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire. This is a permanent part time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 16 hours per week, generally including some weekend work.

Hours: 16 hours per week. Pay: £13.61 per hour. Benefits: 6 weeks holiday, 15% staff discount, staff benefits package, and more!

We offer an hourly pay rate of £13.61 and a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week, which equates to at least £217 per week. Overtime may be available for those looking to earn more.

• Be an important part of the management team and support the manager in leading the team to run an efficient shop and provide a great service to customers.
• Take full responsibility for running the shop in the manager's absence, ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries are worked quickly and shop routines are completed to maintain a safe, clean and tidy shop.
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders and develop your team of retail assistants.
• Take responsibility for the control of operational costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll.

• A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
• To be a 'people person' who finds it easy to get on everyone and is able to build strong working relationships with the people you work with.
• To be trustworthy and reliable, as the team and customers will depend on you to do your job to the best of your ability.
• Some experience as a supervisor, team leader or manager in retail or other similar industries is desirable, but we welcome those who want to take the first steps in their retail management career.
• Completion of an Employment Verification check and a Basic DBS check (England/Wales) or Disclosure Scotland check (Scotland) if successful and offered the advertised position.
