Retail Supervisor - Part Time

Hours: 24 hours per week. Pay: £13.61 per hour. Minimum guaranteed work: 24 hours per week, including weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support the manager in leading the team to run an efficient shop and provide a great service to customers.
• Take full responsibility for running the shop in the manager's absence, ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries are processed quickly and shop routines are completed to maintain a safe, clean and tidy environment.
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders and develop the team of retail assistants.
• Take responsibility for controlling operational costs, including shrinkage, waste and payroll.

• Experience as a supervisor, team leader or manager in retail or a similar industry is advantageous but not essential.
