Retail Supervisor - Full Time

We are looking to recruit a new retail supervisor for our shop in Wavertree, Liverpool. This is a permanent, 39 hour full time position working a variety of shifts over five days a week. You should be fully flexible and available throughout the week, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support the manager in leading the team to run an efficient shop and provide excellent service to customers.
• Take full responsibility for running the shop in the manager's absence, ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries are processed quickly, and shop routines maintain a safe, clean, and tidy environment.
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders and develop a team of retail assistants.
• Control operational costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll.

Qualifications

• A friendly, positive, hard working approach
• A people person who builds strong working relationships with colleagues and customers
• Trustworthy and reliable, dependable in a small team setting
• Some experience as a supervisor, team leader or manager in retail or a similar industry (though not mandatory)
• Willing to complete a Basic DBS check (England/Wales) or Disclosure Scotland check (Scotland) if hired
