We are looking to recruit a new retail supervisor for our shop in Peat Road, Glasgow. We offer a permanent 39 hour full time position with a variety of shifts, 5 days a week.

Key Details

• Hours: 39 hours across 5 days per week
• Pay: £13.61 per hour

Please note that, for full time positions, we generally require full flexibility in availability throughout the week, including weekends.

Pay & Benefits

We offer an hourly rate of £13.61 and a guaranteed minimum of 39 hours per week, ensuring a weekly earning of at least £530. Overtime may be available.

Responsibilities

• Support the management team and lead the shop in the manager's absence.
• Ensure customers are looked after, deliveries processed quickly, shop routines completed, and the shop stays safe, clean and tidy.
• Open and close shop, handle cash, place orders, and develop a team of retail assistants.
• Control operational costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll.

Requirements

• A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
• A 'people person' who can build strong working relationships.
• Trustworthy and reliable, dependable for the small team and customers.
• Some experience as a supervisor, team leader or manager in retail or a similar industry is an advantage but not required.
• Completion of an Employment Verification check and a Basic DBS (England/Wales) or Disclosure Scotland check.
