Retail Supervisor - Full Time

We are looking to recruit a new retail supervisor for our shop in Barrow In Furness, Cumbria. This is a permanent 39 hour full time position working a variety of shifts, 5 days a week.

Hours: 39 hours across 5 days per week. Pay: £13.61 per hour. Benefits: 30 days holiday each year, 15% staff discount, staff benefits package and more.

Responsibilities

• Support the manager as part of the management team, leading the team to run an efficient shop and provide great service to customers.
• Run the shop in manager's absence, ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries processed quickly, and shop routines completed to maintain a safe, clean and tidy shop.
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders, and develop a team of retail assistants.
• Control operational costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll.

Qualifications

• A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.

• Trustworthy and reliable, dependable to team and customers.
• Some experience as a supervisor, team leader or manager in retail or similar industries is advantageous but not required.
• Ability to complete an Employment Verification check and a Basic DBS/Disclosure Scotland check if offered the position.
