Retail Supervisor - Full Time

We are looking to recruit a new retail supervisor for our shop in Tipton, West Midlands. The role is permanent, 39 hour full time position working a variety of shifts across 5 days per week, including weekends.

Hourly pay rate: £13.61, with a guaranteed minimum of 39 hours per week ( £530 per week). Overtime may be available.

Responsibilities

• Work as an important part of the management team, support the manager and lead the team to run an efficient shop and provide excellent customer service.
• Take full responsibility for running the shop in the manager's absence, ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries are worked quickly and shop routines are completed to maintain a safe, clean and tidy shop.
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders and develop your team of retail assistants.
• Control operational costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll.

• Trustworthy and reliable, dependable during the day.
• Experience as a supervisor, team leader or manager in retail or similar industries is preferred but not required.
• Completion of an Employment Verification check and a Basic DBS / Disclosure Scotland check (England/Wales) required if offered the position.
