Retail Supervisor - Full Time

We are looking to recruit a new retail supervisor for our shop in Armley, Leeds. The position is permanent, full time, 39 hours per week across five days, and requires flexibility throughout the week, including weekends.

Pay: £13.61 per hour with a guaranteed minimum of 39 hours, earning at least £530 per week. Overtime may be available. Benefits: 6 weeks holiday, 15% staff discount, staff benefits package, and more!

Responsibilities

• Support the manager as part of the management team, ensuring efficient shop operations and great customer service
• Lead the shop in the manager's absence, ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries are processed quickly, and shop routines are completed to maintain safety, cleanliness, and tidiness
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders, and develop a team of retail assistants
• Control operational costs, including shrinkage, waste, and payroll

Qualifications & Requirements

• Friendly, positive, hardworking approach
• People person who builds strong working relationships and communicates effectively
• Trustworthy and reliable, dependable to team and customers
• Some experience as a supervisor, team leader, or manager in retail or similar industry preferred but not essential for aspiring leaders
• Completion of an Employment Verification check and a Basic DBS or Disclosure Scotland check (if successful and offered)
