Retail Supervisor - Full Time Position Details

• Hours: 39 hours per week across 5 days.
• Pay: £13.61 per hour.

We are looking to recruit a new retail supervisor for our shop in Barnstaple, Devon. This is a permanent 39 hour full time position with a variety of shifts.

Full time candidates must be fully flexible, available throughout the week including weekends.

Your Responsibilities

• Support the manager as part of the management team, leading the shop efficiently and providing excellent customer service.
• Run the shop in the manager's absence-ensure customer care, deliveries, routines, safety, cleanliness.
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders, develop the retail assistants team.
• Control operational costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Friendly, positive, hard working approach.
• People person with the ability to build strong relationships.
• Trustworthy and reliable, dependable within a small team.
• Experience as a supervisor, team leader or manager in retail or similar industries preferred.
• Willing to complete an Employment Verification check and a Basic DBS/Disclosure check if offered the position.
