Retail Supervisor - Full Time

We are looking to recruit a new retail supervisor for our shop in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. The role is a permanent 39 hour full time position with a variety of shifts, typically 5 days per week.

Hours: 39 hours per week across 5 days.

Pay: £13.61 per hour, guaranteeing a minimum of £530 per week. Overtime may be available.

Responsibilities

• Support the manager and be an important part of the management team to run an efficient shop and provide great customer service.
• Take full responsibility for running the shop in the manager's absence, ensuring that customers are looked after, deliveries are processed quickly and shop routines are completed to maintain a safe, clean and tidy shop.
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders and develop your team of retail assistants.
• Maintain control of operational costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll.

Qualifications

• A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
• A 'people person' who finds it easy to get on everyone and build strong working relationships.
• Trustworthy and reliable; you will be an important part of a small team and customers will depend on you to perform your job to the best of your ability.
• Some experience as a supervisor, team leader or manager in retail or similar industries is desirable, but we welcome candidates who are taking the first steps in a retail management career.
• Ability to complete an Employment Verification check and a Basic DBS check (England/Wales) or Disclosure Scotland check if successful and offered the advertised position.
