Retail Supervisor - Full Time

We are looking to recruit a new retail supervisor for our shop in Queen Street Retail Park, Boston. The position is permanent, full time, 39 hours per week with a variety of shifts, 5 days a week. The pay rate is £13.61 per hour and we offer the following benefits.

Responsibilities

• Be an important part of the management team and support the manager in leading the team to run an efficient shop and provide great service to customers.
• Take full responsibility for running the shop in the manager's absence, ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries are processed quickly and shop routines are completed to maintain a safe, clean and tidy shop.
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders and develop your team of retail assistants.
• Take responsibility for the control of operational costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll.

Qualifications

• A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong working relationships.
• Trustworthy and reliable; you must be someone the team and customers can depend on at all times.
• Experience as a supervisor, team leader or manager in retail or a similar industry is desirable but not essential; we welcome candidates who are ready to take the first steps in a retail management career.
• Commitment to completing an Employment Verification check and a Basic DBS check (England/Wales) or Disclosure Scotland check (Scotland) if offered the position.
