Our client is seeking an experienced Store Manager with a strong background in Fresh Food Department. An ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Profit and Loss margins, motivating the team in all departments to work efficiently to achieve daily sales targets and following all HACCP standards in the store. Key Responsibilities ofRetail Store Manager Co. Sligo

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring everything runs efficiently and smoothly.
• Drive sales, profitability, and overall store performance while meeting key financial targets.
• Effectively manage labour costs, waste, and stock shrinkage to maximise profitability.
• Inspire, coach, and develop your management team and store colleagues to achieve outstanding results.
• Ensure full compliance with HR policies and Health & Safety regulations.
• Create a positive, customer-focused culture that reflects the company's high standards and reputation.

Key Requirements forRetail Store Manager Co. Sligo

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in leading a busy retail store with emphasis on Fresh Food.
• A confident and inspiring leader with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and department leaders.
• Commercially minded with a strong understanding of sales, margins, cost control, and business performance.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation, Health & Safety, HACCP, and consumer regulations.
• Have knowledge of P&L, sales and margins to drive store to financial success.
