Salary: £12.71 per hour plus benefits. Reports to: Shop manager.
Department: Trading. Contract: Fixed term contract until October 2026.
Hours: 22.5 hours a week - must be flexible Monday to Sunday. Location: Glasgow Sauchiehall Shop. Closing date: 26th July 2026.
Eligibility: You must be eligible to work in the UK. Cancer Research UK is not able to offer visa sponsorship.
Responsibilities- Oversee the running of the shop and take keyholder responsibility.
- Support a talented and diverse team of volunteers and assist the wider shop team in achieving sales and fundraising targets.
- Review and process donated goods and new stock.
- Generate new income ideas with guidance from the Shop Manager.
- Use your customer service skills to ensure our customers and supporters feel welcome and appreciated.
- Maintain shop standards regarding safeguarding, compliance and health and safety.
- Perform varied manual handling and physical activity as required.
- A working knowledge of what makes great customer service.
- Experience of working in a lively and vibrant environment.
- Adaptability in changing situations, including ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commercial awareness.
- The ability to create relationships and communicate well.
