Job Description
Retail Store Assistant

Internal title: Shop Assistant. Location: Beverley. Contract: Permanent. Working hours: Part time, 8 hours per week. Closing date: 31st May :55. Salary: £12.71 per hour plus benefits. You must be eligible to work in the UK. Cancer Research UK is not able to offer visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer and supporter service.
  • Work as an integral part of the shop team to achieve sales and fundraising targets.
  • Assist with maintaining shop standards, including visual presentation, safeguarding compliance and health and safety.
  • Create relationships with your local community and Cancer Research UK colleagues.
  • Support fundraising events for the store to meet fundraising targets.
  • Taken keyholder responsibility as required (training provided).
  • Perform a varied amount of manual handling and physical activity required within day to day duties.
Qualifications
  • Understanding of what makes great customer service.
  • Experience working in a busy customer service environment.
  • Ability to manage own workload and work independently when required.
  • Ability to work well in a team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Flexibility to cover rota shifts as required.
