Job Title: Retail Store Assistant

Pay: £13.08 per hour + benefits

Reports to: Shop manager Department: Trading Location: Banstead shop Contract: Permanent Working hours: Part time (13.5 hours per week) External Closing date: 2nd August :55

Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in the UK. (No visa sponsorship.)

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer and supporter service.
• Work as an integral part of the shop team to achieve ambitious sales and fundraising targets.
• Assist with maintaining shop standards including visual presentation, safeguarding compliance and health and safety.
• Create relationships with local community and Cancer Research UK colleagues.
• Support fundraising events to achieve fundraising targets.
• Take keyholder responsibility as required (training provided).
• Perform varied manual handling and physical activity required within the day-to-day duties.

Qualifications

• Understanding of what makes great customer service.
• Experience working in a busy customer service environment.
• Ability to manage own workload and work independently when required.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Flexibility to cover the needs of the business on a rota basis.
