Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and operationally savvy events professional to join our Retail & Licensing team. This role will report directly to the Head of Licensing & Retail and will work to help manage the day-to-day relationships with licensed partners in multiple markets and assist with all retail operational activity at events. This role will be a key member within the broader Commercial team and will be required to work closely with the other functions of the business to drive excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identifying key retail locations and footprints at all SailGP events, including the Race Village and Hospitality areas
  • Project manage the store build, design, and aesthetic - considering wayfinding, ingress and egress, traffic flow, customer journey, and product hierarchy
  • Oversee management of stock deliveries and inventory from event to event for stock management, shipping and invoicing purposes
  • Assist the Head of Licensing & Retail with post event reports to the business, identifying learnings and opportunitiesfor future retail operations throughout the season
  • Responsible for operational critical paths to ensure timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables are met and presented to the Head of Retail & Licensing ahead of each event
  • Work closely with SailGP's Retail Partner who co owner the retail operations providing staff, merchandise, and POS for each venue
  • Manage premium product fulfilment for internal stakeholders and League partners throughout the season
  • Assist with the account management of League and Team suppliers
  • Manage the uniform budget and allocation per season, coordinating with each department across the business to ensure their staff needs and requirements are met

About You
  • Self-motivated, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to adapt and problem solve in changeable environments
  • Strong organizer who can manage multiple projects (and associated stakeholders) simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end event retail delivery - specifically in global events
  • Excellent verbal and written communication - fluent in English (other language skills particularly Spanish or French would be advantageous)
  • International events experience with a demonstrable ability to understand and adapt to regional and cultural requirements
  • Intuitive feel for the SailGP product, brand, and mission
  • Entrepreneurial spirit who can initiate projects and implement changes

Location: London, United Kingdom. Hybrid working model with a minimum of 3 days per week in the London Office.
