Retail Merchandiser

Retail Merchandiser - Tesco Extra Beckton (E6 7FB) - Fixed term contract, 6 hours a week.

About the role

As part of a field based retail merchandising team at eXPD8, you will work on behalf of household brand clients to ensure fixtures are set up effectively, products and promotions are displayed attractively, and shelves are well stocked. You may also travel to other stores in the region as needed.

Working Days & Hours: 6 hours per week - Wednesday AM/PM, Friday AM/PM.

This role is a fixed term contract ending 6 September 2026, with the possibility of permanent employment for the right candidate. Additional ad hoc work may be available.

How you'll deliver excellence

• Compliance and standards
  • Apply merchandising standards, store policies, procedures and health and safety guidance.
  • Follow and implement planograms where provided to ensure consistency and compliance.
• Product placement and replenishment
  • Arrange and organise products on shelves and displays to maximise visibility and appeal.
• Promotional and point of sale setup
  • Set up promotional displays and signage to communicate prices, discounts and special offers.
• Strong communication and relationship building
  • Build and maintain good working relationships with in store colleagues, department and store managers.
  • Provide accurate and timely feedback to client account teams via the feedback application.

Qualifications

• Experience or passion for merchandising, retail and/or customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to take ownership of work within set time frames and use initiative to find solutions.
• Take pride in delivering high standards and service for clients.
• Comfortable with manual handling - moving and arranging products from warehouse to shop floor.
• Willing to accept home deliveries of point of sale or stock items for some visits (extra pay offered).
• Confident in using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos and answer task related questions.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
