Retail Makeup Artist 32hrs

We are looking for a talented and passionate Makeup Artist to join the team of a fast growing, contemporary luxury beauty brand within a prestigious retail environment in Central London.

This part time role is ideal for an artist who is confident in delivering beautiful, wearable makeup while creating warm, engaging experiences for clients. You will play a key role in introducing clients to the brand's unique philosophy, offering personalised consultations, and helping them discover products that enhance their individual style.

The brand celebrates individuality, creativity, effortless beauty, and artistic self expression, encouraging a modern approach to makeup that feels authentic and personal rather than prescriptive.

Working 3-4 days per week, you will collaborate with a small, passionate team to create an inspiring and welcoming environment where clients feel encouraged to explore makeup in a way that feels natural, expressive, and empowering.

• Deliver professional makeup applications and personalised consultations tailored to each client's needs and style.
• Provide engaging product demonstrations and share artistry techniques to inspire clients.
• Build genuine connections with clients through thoughtful consultations and personalised product recommendations.
• Support the team in achieving sales targets through exceptional service and confident product storytelling.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, counter presentation, and overall retail environment.
• Assist with in store events, activations, and client experiences to drive engagement and footfall.
• Develop a growing client base through proactive clienteling and follow up communication.
• Maintain strong product knowledge, including formulas, benefits, and application techniques.
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure a positive and supportive atmosphere on the shop floor.

• Experience as a makeup artist within beauty retail, artistry, or freelance makeup.
• Strong technical skills with the ability to create natural, modern, and wearable looks.
• A genuine passion for makeup artistry, creativity, and beauty trends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence engaging with clients and delivering personalised consultations.
• A positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced retail environment.
