Retail Assistant - Part Time, Evenings & Weekends

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in King's Lynn, Norfolk. We offer a permanent part time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 12 hours worked over 3 days each week, including weekends.

Availability: this position requires weekday evenings and all day on Saturday and Sunday. It may not be suitable for applicants who cannot work these times.

As a Retail Assistant you will

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello
• Help customers find the items they are looking for
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, offer help with packing, and give a courteous goodbye
• Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy

You will need

• A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work
• Enjoy being busy; you'll jump between deliveries, the till, customer service and cleaning routines
• Reliability, as you are an important team member who customers and colleagues depend on to perform each shift without letting the team down
• Flexibility with shifts, as rota changes may be required to cover teammates on holiday
