Retail Assistant - Part Time, Evenings & Weekends

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Ashton Under Lyne, Greater Manchester. The position offers a permanent part time role with a minimum of 16 hours worked over 4 days per week, including weekday evenings and all day on Saturdays and Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile.
• Help customers find the items they are looking for.
• Provide fast, friendly service at the tills, including packing and leaving a positive impression.
• Handle stock with care during deliveries and quickly place products onto shelves.
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy.

Qualifications & Requirements

• A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
• Enjoy being busy, ready to shift between deliveries, till service, customer assistance, cleaning and stock rotation.
• Reliable, dependable - essential to the small team.
• Flexible with shifts; willing to work slightly different hours as teammates take holidays.
