Retail Assistant - Part Time, Evenings & Weekends

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Speke Boulevard, Speke. We offer a permanent part-time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 12 hours worked over 3 days from each week, including weekends. This position requires availability for weekday evenings and all day on Saturday and Sunday.

Pay & benefits

• Hours: 12 hours across 3 days per week.
• Pay: £10.95 - £12.81 per hour (Age 16-20: £10.95 per hour; Age 21+: £12.81 per hour).

As one of our retail assistants you will:

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers find the items they are looking for.
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, and assist with packing.
• Handle stock with care during deliveries, quickly placing products into our freezers and onto shelves.
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy.

Requirements:

• A friendly, positive, hard-working approach.
• An eagerness to stay busy - jumping from deliveries to till service to cleaning and stock rotation.
• Reliability - be a dependable part of a small team, meeting commitments for each shift.
• Flexibility with shifts; rotations are planned three weeks in advance and your commitments are considered.
