We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Wavertree, Liverpool. We offer a permanent part time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 16 hours worked over 4 days per week, including weekdays evenings and all day Saturday and Sunday.

• Hours: 16 hours across 4 days per week
• Pay: £10.95 - £12.81 per hour (depending on age)

The amount you will earn depends on your age:

• Ages : £10.95 per hour
• Ages 21+: £12.81 per hour

Responsibilities

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers find the items they are looking for.
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, assisting with packing and leaving a good impression.
• Handle stock with care, working deliveries and quickly placing products into freezers and on shelves.
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy.

Requirements

• A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
• Enjoy being busy; be prepared to jump from deliveries to tills to shop floor tasks.
• Reliability - be an important part of a small team and deliver your best on each shift.
• Flexibility with shift changes; rota's planned three weeks in advance with consideration for outside commitments.
