Retail Assistant - Part Time, Evenings & Weekends

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Banbury, Oxfordshire. We offer a permanent part time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 12 hours worked over 3 days from 7 each week, including weekends.

Please note that this position will require you to be available for shifts on weekday evenings and all day on Saturday and Sunday. This position may not be suitable for you if you are not available to work at these times.

Hours & Pay

Hours: 12 hours across 3 days per week.

Pay: £10.95 - £12.81 per hour (depending on age).

Responsibilities

• Make all of our customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers find the items that they are looking for.
• Give a fast and friendly service at the tills, always offering help to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
• Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves for customers.
• Work with the rest of your team to complete the daily and weekly routines that keep our shops safe, clean and tidy.

Qualifications / Requirements

• A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
• Enjoy being busy as there is always something to do.
• Be reliable, as your colleagues and customers depend on you to do your best each shift and not let the team down.
• Can be flexible with shifts; Rotas are planned three weeks in advance and commitments outside work will be considered.
