Retail Assistant - Part Time, Evenings & Weekends

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Altrincham, Greater Manchester. We offer a permanent part time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 12 hours worked over 3 days per week, including weekdays evenings and all day on Saturday and Sunday.

• Hours: 12 hours across 3 days per week.
• Pay: £10.95 - £12.81 per hour (depending on age).

Responsibilities

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and a simple hello.
• Help customers find the items they are looking for.
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, offer help to pack and leave a good impression with a thank you and goodbye.
• Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves ready for purchase.
• Work with the rest of the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy.

What You Will Need

• A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
• Enjoy being busy and ready to jump from deliveries to tills to help on the shop floor and complete cleaning/stock rotation routines.
• Reliability - you will be an important part of a small team that depends on you to do your best on each shift and not let the team down.
• Flexibility with shifts - rota's are planned three weeks in advance and your commitments will be taken into consideration.
• Be able to complete an Employment Verification check if successful and offered the advertised position.
