Retail Assistant - Part Time, Early Starts

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Rhyl, Denbighshire. This is a permanent part time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 16 hours worked over 4 days each week, including weekends. Please note that this position will require you to be available for early morning shifts.

Responsibilities

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers find the items they are looking for.
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, offer help to pack and give a friendly thank you and goodbye.
• Handle stock with care while working deliveries, placing products quickly into our freezers and onto shelves.
• Work with the rest of the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy.

Qualifications

• A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
• Enjoy being busy; able to jump from delivering to serving on the till, assisting customers, completing cleaning and stock rotation routines, and more.
• Reliable; must be an important part of a small team and not let the team down on each shift.
• Flexible with shifts; ready to cover for colleagues if needed. Rotas planned three weeks in advance and personal commitments will be considered.
