We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Tredegar, Blaenau Gwent. We offer a permanent part time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 16 hours worked over 4 days per week, including weekends. This position requires availability for early morning shifts.

Pay & Benefits

• Hours: 16 hours across 4 days per week.
• Pay: £10.95 - £12.81 per hour, depending on age (Ages : £10.95 per hour; Ages 21+: £12.81 per hour).

Responsibilities

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile.
• Help customers find items they are looking for.
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, offer help to pack and leave a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
• Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves ready for customers.
• Work with the rest of the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy.

Requirements

• Friendly, positive, hard working approach.
• Enjoy being busy, capable of juggling delivery, till, floor, cleaning, and stock routines.
• Reliable; dependable to deliver best on each shift and support the team.
• Some flexibility with shifts; rota planned three weeks in advance, personal commitments considered.
• Complete an Employment Verification check if successful.
